About Paricutin
The only volcano in history whose entire lifecycle was witnessed by humans. It erupted from a cornfield in 1943 and grew 250 m in its first week. It buried two villages but killed no one. It is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Its entire 9-year lifespan was observed and documented.
