About Mount Shasta
The second tallest volcano in the Cascade Range. Considered active with potential for large eruptions. It has four overlapping volcanic cones. Sacred to Native American tribes. Some believe it is home to Lemurians, an ancient race. The 1786 eruption was observed by French explorer La Perouse.
